GAMES, CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION RULES AND REGULATIONS
SPORTS DEPARTMENT
DISCIPLINE
1.
Only members of ACSU with valid college I.D
cards (from 2009-2012) shall qualify to participate. In case of missing I.D.
card a student with a letter from the principal indicating that he/she is a
member of the college will be allowed.
2.
Any team that uses an unqualified player in a
match shall be pronounced loser of that game with a penalty of GH₵20.00
and loses three points and three goals to the opponent.
3.
The disciplinary committee made up of sports
masters and patrons of the six colleges.
4.
Any college that shall leave before the official
closing ceremony shall be banned from participating in the union’s activities
for two consecutive years in accordance with the union’s constitution.
5.
In abrupt end of a match, the team found to be
the cause will be declared loser of that match.
6.
All protests will be valid when lodged to the
discipline committee or through the match commissioner 30 minutes after the end
of the match.
7.
Any team that will fail to participate in any
match and could not give any tangible reason shall face penalty of losing three
points and three goals to the opponent with a fine of GH₵10.00
8.
If a team
fails to participate in a match, but is
been able to convince the ACSU sports committee with tangible reason,
after thorough investigation , the said
match shall be replayed as an outstanding match.
9.
Hooliganism and misconduct on the pitch or park
during the period of play, by any team member, coach, supporter of the team,
that team will be fined an amount of GHC 10.00.
10.
Any player who attract yellow card during the
competition shall be fined GHC 1.00.
11.
Any player who attract red card in a match shall
not part in the next match and the team of that player shall be fined GHC 5.00.
12.
15 minutes Lateness to the field by any team
shall face a penalty of GHC 10.00 which must be paid before the team would be
permitted to take part in the match.
13.
Any team that uses an unqualified player shall
be deducted of 3 maximum points and 3 goals which would be awarded to the
opponent and the team would be fined an amount of GHC 10.00.
14.
Any protest by any team against another team must
be presented to the ACSU sports committee within 1hr after match or count it
legible. The protest fee is GHC 10.00.
15.
In case of similar jersey colors the match commissioner’s
decision shall be followed.
16.
Team sheet should be presented to the match commissioners
of ACSU 30 minutes before match commence.
17.
Clash of points will be separated in accordance
with head to head rule.
18.
All team should present to the national ACSU
sports committee, their two set of jersey colors.
19.
In a situation where there is a clash of jersey colors,
the away team of that particular match shall be asked to change their jersey.
20.
At the knock stage there will be no extra time
and when there is a draw match, there will be penalty shoot-out.
N.B.Home
and away teams will be decided by the sports committee through balloting after
arrival.

in case there is natural disaster or a match end without the official time,
the remaining time shall be played the next day or at appropriate time set by
the sports committee
22 the indoor games consist of table tennis,
oware, ludu, cards and draft with one representative each for male and female.
ANY TEAM OR COLLEGE WHO FAILS TO PAY ANY
PENALTY TO THE ACSU SPORTS COMMMITTE WILL NOT BE ALLOWES TO TAKE PART IN
SUBSEQUENT MATCHES
ENTERTAINMENT
1.
All colleges are to present two contestants each
for the personality show, quiz eating competition its takes two.
2.
All contestant are to ware any dress of their
choice provided its does not exposes their private parts and in conformity to
the event.
3.
All contestant are to present their names,
little biography and music of their choice to the event organizers.
OTHERS
1.
ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THEIR ACSU
CLOTH DURING THE OPENING CEREMONY.
2.
ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THEIR ACSU
T-SHIRT DURING THE TOUR.
3.
DISCIPLINARY COMMOTTEE FOR THE GAMES, CONFERENCE
AND EXHIBITION CONSIST OF ALL THE PATRONS OF THE SIX COLLEGES.
